Chapter 3: I do, I do, I do, I do, I do!
[A/N] Yeah, last chapter, not so good. This one, hopefully better. Please, let it be better! >.<
‘Oh, no hard feelings between you and me
If we can’t make it
We just wait and see
So come on now, let’s try it.
I love you, can’t deny it
‘Cause it’s true, I do, I do, I do, I do, I do.’
‘I do, I do, I do, I do, I do’ by ABBA
France played with the ring in his hands as he and Emily waited for the ultrasound technician to start the machine.
“Ok, what gender do you want?” The nurse asked, trying to make friendly conversation.
It was just answered with silence.
“I want a girl.” Emily said.
France just smiled at her, and Emily was just relieved to see that smile. He has been quite stoic, for him at least in the past few days.
France just didn’t want to spoil the surprise. He had actually planned on getting her pregnant, then doing this, but not for a while. Good thing America gave him that ‘friendly’ push. But Emily didn’t need to know about that.
“Well, it looks to me as if you will be having a girl! Congrats!” The tech smiled.
“Thank you!” Emily squealed.
“Hold on, Emily.” France said.
Emily’s smile faded, “What’s wrong?”
“Well, I have a question.”
The nurse has seen this before, so there’s no need for her to stay. She smiled knowingly and walked out. Her husband had done this, after all.
“What?” Emily asked.
“Will you marry me?” He sucked in a breath like he was hit, for fear of rejection.
“Yes!” Emily squealed out.
France hugged her, and they started planning as soon as they got home.
“So about a month from now? I’ll be seven months in.” Emily said.
“That sounds wonderful.” Francis kissed her.
The next day Natalie and Prussia came over with Gratia to congratulate them.
“Now being a Dad is tough work, but the awesome me can handle it!” Prussia said. Nat just rolled her eyes as Gratia felt Emily’s stomach.
“Is it a boy or a girl?” Nat asked.
“A Girl.”
“Names?” Gratia asked cutely.
“We’ve picked Faye Bonnefoy.” Emily smiled, rubbing her stomach.
“What’s your due date?” Nat asked.
“July 28.” Emily smiled.
“Awe! That’s just twenty three days after MY birthday!” Natalie smiled.
“It is isn’t it?!” Emily said, shocked.
“Yup! Mommy is gonna be~” Gratia started, but Nat put a hand over he mouth.
“Hush, little one.” Natalie kissed her forehead, “Why don’t you go bug Daddy and Uncle Francis for a while?”
Gratia giggled, nodded, and ran over, tackling her dad.
“I hope she’s a little calmer than Gratia.” Emily laughed.
“Oh, she will be. With my temperament when I was little and Gilbert’s temperament, it wasn’t hard to get her to be hyper.” Natalie chuckled.
“Well, we better get going.” Prussia said.
“Yeah, Gratia needs a nap.” Natalie said, petting her hair as she laid on Prussia’s shoulders, dozing off.
When they left, France turned to Emily, “So cute.” Emily smiled.
“Yeah, but wait till they grow up.” Francis rolled his eyes.
A month later, the wedding was beautiful. Emily looked gorgeous, and Gratia was the flower girl.
All the countries attended, and states… and provinces… and well, everyone!
IT SUCK-ED! WAHHH! T_T I want this to be Emily’s birthday present! I just realized that she’s turning seventeen today! PLEASE LIKE THIS EMILY! *sniffs* Yeah, but I seriously will have a nephew on July 20! My best friend (NOT EMILY) is pregnant and wants me to be an aunt! So excited!
Anyways thankies for reading the suckish things!
