Prologue
I slowly knocked on the door. I hadn’t been here in… I don’t know how long. The oak door opened to reveal my brother, a.k.a. Spain.
“Ah! Mi Hermana! How nice to see you!”
I giggled a little, “Yeah, you’re going to kill me.”
“What?” he asked, slightly worried.
“I kinda… need a place to stay. My roommate got knocked up, and now I can’t stay there anymore. So, I need a place to stay, and I figured, ‘Hey! Why not go back to hermano’s house?” I said, pushing my way through the door.
“Wh-what?!”
“You heard me. Now, please tell me that Romano has left.” I said, looking around to make sure that, that sneaky little boy, well he was my age, but still, wasn’t around to hit me with rotten tomatoes like he did when we were little.
“Si, he’s left, but Hermana, why don’t you stay with someone else? Not that I don’t want you here…”
“I just don’t want to end up in that same situation. I’m still in college, you know. I need somewhere to do my work and what not.” I stated.
“You mean, you want to come back?!” He started getting excited. I went back to my old room and set my things down.
“Now, I’ll cook… maybe, depending on how good you’re being.”
“Oi! Spain, you bastard! Are you going to let Tonia run you around like a dog forever?” a grumpy Romano sounded from my door.
“Lovi!” I exclaimed, running up to him and hugged him.
“H-hey! Get off, Tonia! Antonia, get off!”
I giggled and let go, “He’s going to be good, aren’t you, Antonio?” I asked, looking him square in the eye.
“Yes! Si, si! I’ll be good!” You see, my brother has always had a soft spot for me. I giggled, and went around the house to see what he had done with it, both Antonio and Romano in tow.
“What are you looking for?” Romano asked.
“Just looking around. Why are you two following me?” I raised a brown, blowing some of my dark brown hair out of my face.
“U-uh…” Romano stuttered.
“You’ve just grown so much! I can’t believe that you’re my little sister that lived here so long ago!” Antonio cooed.
“Ugh, hermano, give it a break, will you?” I groaned, “By the way, you never answered me, can I move back in?”
“Si! Yes, yes! Of course you can!” He squealed.
“Oi, you sound like a little girl you bastard.”
“Romano, while I’m here you will watch your mouth.” I said in a tone that he knew. We’re around the same age, so of course he knew what my tones meant. We grew up together.
“Yes, ma’am!” he squeaked out.
“I’ll be getting ready for dinner. You two,” I pointed at them, “While I’m here, you will stay out of my way in the kitchen. You will also respect me being a woman now, and watch your language, Antonio, pass that on to Francis and Gilbert. I know they’ll be stopping by quite a bit, too.” I said, turning on my heel, and walking into the kitchen. The two men left and let me do my work.
Yup, staying here will be a good thing…. I smiled to myself.
Okies, so that was the prologue! XD I’m so happy that I’m getting this started! Anyway, hope you’ll read and check up!
